24-hour Protection

The HERMES Alarm Receiving Centre manages over 10 millions of signals from thousands of monitored systems every month. The state-of-the-art software with its artificial intelligence capabilities, processes, analyses, prioritises and forwards to users for further action, over a million of those signals.

The most advanced monitored systems are connected to the Alarm Receiving Centre, which continuously monitors their correct operation and can respond through appropriate actions, notifying the responsible individual, contacting the police or ordering a security patrol.

Services we offer

FIRE SIGNALS

In case of fire, the Fire Service is immediately notified as well as the responsible individuals or owners, whilst the fire zone is also detected.

DISARMING (OFF) OF SYSTEM UNDER THREAT

Disarming under threat is immediately noticed by the Alarm Receiving Centre and the Police are instantly called. If supported and if on record, the user under threat is identified.

ROBBERY CONTROL

In case of a robbery signal, the Police, the guard vehicles (if this service is used) and the responsible individuals or owners are immediately notified, whilst at the same time the zone of the Robbery is identified.

GAS LEAK SIGNALS

In case of a gas leak, the Fire Service is immediately notified as well as the responsible individuals or owners, and at the same time the location of the leak is identified.

ELEVATOR LOCK-IN

In case of an elevator lock-in, the Fire Service and the responsible individuals or owners are notified, and the specific lift is located.

ARMING - DISARMING

Checking and monitoring of the arming-disarming of the system. The user who arms or disarms the security system is recorded, along with further information such as the time and location.

COMMUNICATION CONTROL

Subject to the Customer requirements and the system possibilities, the Alarm Receiving Centre is capable of receiving signals of correct communication control every 24 hours, 12 hours, 6 hours or every hour, and of notifying the responsible individuals in case of loss of contact with the system.

COMMUNICATION CONTROL OF IP/GPRS CONNECTIONS

For systems connected through IP/GPRS, depending on the manufacturer, the systems’ availability is checked every 3 minutes.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL

In case of temperature rise or fall in controlled enclosures, the responsible individuals are immediately notified, and the location of the problem is identified.

Measurement and recording of energy data to target energy savings.

PERSONAL THREAT BUTTON

In case of use of the personal threat button, the Police is instantly notified, as well as the guard vehicles (if this service is used), the responsible individuals or owners. If supported and if on record, the user under threat is recognized.

MEDICAL EMERGENCY SIGNALS

In cases of medical emergency signals, people’s relatives or personal doctor are notified, or the Ambulance Service (166).

BURGLARY CONTROL

In case of a burglary alarm the Police are instantly called, as well as the guard vehicles (if this service is used) and the responsible individuals or owners are notified, whilst at the same time the burglary zone is identified.

WATER LEAKAGE SIGNALS

In case of water leakage the Fire Service is immediately notified as well as the responsible individuals or owners, and the leakage location is identified.

DEVICES TAMPER CONTROL

In case a device has been tampered, even when the system is disarmed, the responsible individuals or owners are immediately notified.

WORKING HOURS CONTROL

In case of non-activation of the alarm of de-activation outside the pre-defined working hours, the responsible individuals are immediately notified.

CHECK OF FAULT OR SABOTAGE IN TELEPHONE LINES

In case there is an alternative means of signal transmission, e.g. GSM, GPRS or IP, then it is possible to identify any fault or sabotage attempt of a telephone line, and the Customer is immediately notified.

FAULT SIGNALS CONTROL

If the monitored system has the capability of fault transmission signals, the individuals responsible for the fault are immediately notified and the fault exact location is identified.

CURRENT VOLTAGE MONITORING

The current voltage (220V) and the battery voltage of the system (12V) are constantly monitored and in case a problem is identified or a response is not received, the responsible individuals are immediately notified.

Additional Services

Monitoring of all events

Making use of all technological means, we keep records of all events we recorded on your Security System during the last three years. Our information is immediately available upon your request and On-Line for those that benefit from our On-Line services.

Conversations recording

Through correlating the recorded Security system events with recorded conversations, we maintain high quality evidence, with the potential to be used for your support if needed. At the same time we have an internal control tool which can improve efficiency on a daily basis.

Automated reporting

The aim is to automatically send a report of events to a subscriber (through email) in predefined accounts. Daily automated reporting or weekly armed status reporting, are some of the most common services used by our subscribers.

Events transmission service via Internet

Using secure passwords through encrypted Internet web pages, subscribers are allowed access to the Alarm Receiving Centre database, where all information concerning their Security systems is visible in real time.

We appreciate you may wish to enjoy a relaxing holiday. In order to ensure that we will not hassle you during your absence, please notify us in time regarding the period of your absence and the person replacing you, and we will take care of the rest.

DUAL COMMUNICATION

In high risk premises or businesses, in order to be totally sure that whatever happens, an error or alarm signal will reach its destination, you may use dual route communication systems, one main route being via Internet and a secondary one via GPRS. In this way, your system will remain constantly connected with the Alarm Receiving Centre, whilst both communication routes are constantly checked.

ALARM VERIFICATION THROUGH VISUAL CONTROL

Do not get alarmed for no reason – we will make use of all possible means offered by CCTV technology, in order to verify whether the alarm incident is real. We will record images and video throughout the monitoring and make them available upon request.

TRACKING AND MONITORING SERVICES

We offer position tracking services for customers having particular requirements of geographical position monitoring. Route monitoring and vehicle tracking, tracking of stolen ATMs, protection for those working in remote locations, those active in outdoor sports and for all your loved ones.
